So here it goes. If your one of the handful of people that are reading this, then consider yourself L-U-C-K-Y. You will be one of the unique few to witness the birth of my blog.
My blog’s birth is the result of years of labor, believe it or not. You see, I’ve been a fan of blogs, blogging and bloggers for ages. For a number of years I’ve taken the information I live by on the day to day from blogs. Why trust the experts? Why trust the companies whose website’s sole purpose is to inform and persuade consumers into buying their products. Nope, I prefer advice from people like me, like my friends and like my family. People who have no real agenda.
So here I am. So why blog? Why now? Well, aside from needing a creative outlet, something my day job totally lacks, I’m hoping this blog will do at least 2 things. (1) Help me figure out what it is I should be doing with my life and (2) inspire those who read my blog. The tipping point came from attending the 2nd annual Mom 2.0 Summit. Held in my home town of Houston, TX, there was no reason to miss it. Furthermore, with the urging of a dear friend (yes, you Misty) I went to check it out, meet some bloggers and find some inspiration. Needless to say, mission accomplished on all fronts. I met some interesting a fabulous people, and walked away with a mountain of useful information and inspiration. Welcome to my blog .
